Mutto's single Wish was released on March 27 and is doing well across the board. A number of radio and television stations have picked up the song both nationally and internationally.

“Mutto” Releases Debut Single ‘Wish’

One of the first Australian artists to release an exclusively digital single

‘Wish’, the new single by Gold Coast artist, Mutto (Guy Mutton), has officially been released to radio stations this week with a worldwide release to the public on 26 March.

The release of Mutto’s single ‘Wish’ is a momentous occasion as he is one of the first Australian artists ever to release an exclusively digital single available for download from the iTunes store, his own website, www.mutto.com.au, and through the use of a ‘Bandtag’ Card.

‘Bandtag’ has been supplying promotional download cards for artists to give away songs, however Mutto will be the first artist to use the card as a replacement for the standard CD single.

The Bandtag card will offer fans high quality digital versions of the new single and a downloadable version of Mutto’s video for Wish.

“As an independent artist, working with Cowbell Digital Music, we are able to use innovative ideas rather than the standard, or more traditional music release formats,” stated Mutto.

Mutto was last seen on Australian TV during Australian Idol 2006 where he was a finalist in the Top 9. It has been a great journey for him that has now resulted in his new single. “I feel confident that people will love this song because they can relate to the lyrics and message. Wish is such a personal song for me, but I know it will probably hold a different meaning for everyone. And that’s ok with me…”

Mutto’s video can currently be viewed on his website, www.mutto.com.au and his song has already been played on radio stations less than 24 hours after the official release.

Gold Coast fans also have the opportunity to attend Mutto’s official launch on 27 March. Information is available on his website.

The single will be available on www.mutto.com.au and for download from the iTunes store from 26 March.
